My prayers to George's family, He was my Corporal at the Glen Burnie Barrack when I was a new Trooper. During this 5 month period he taught me a lot which served me well until my retirement. Rest in Peace Brother !

George was one of a kind and I am so thankful he came into my life four years ago. We met on the poolside athe a Ormond YMCA and immediately became friends. He’d tease me about my lack of hair and remind me of his long blonde hair. He’d also rib me how slow I was compared to my swimming peers. We’d tease each other out of respect as only military brothers can. Our conversations were all ways interesting with George’s keen insight and unabashed honesty. I love George and will truly miss him. His spirit is present every time I see Iona at the Y. I am so thankful that He and Iona touched my heart in such a beautifully way. Dan
