Dear Sadonna and Leeby family,
Please accept my sincere condolences upon Reg's passing.
Reg was a good friend during our time in Syracuse Gyro, a bond that continued long after we had both moved away. My visits with you in Park City were seamless. It was as though we had never parted. Reg was that kind of friend.
His passing is a deep loss to all who knew him.

Sadonna, I'm still struggling with the loss of Reg, but am so happy to have had such a wonderful friend. I will look forward to a summer get-together and hope the following note to the Gyro Club will help bring some of his old Pals together:
Fellow Gyros, here's a link to the obit for one of the great all-time Syracuse Gyros, Reg Leeby. I realize most of you never met him, but I wish you had. He was fun, kind, thoughtful, selfless, and an absolute pillar of our club. He and his wife left Syracuse about 30 years ago for the skiing in Park City, UT and recently moved to Palm Coast, FL to be closer to family. Thankfully I spoke with him on the phone recently and, though he was his usual self, something seemed a little off. As it turned out, something was a lot off as he passed away exactly a week ago. It turns out he was dealing with multiple health issues, but in typical Reg Leeby fashion he only wanted to hear about how I was doing. This was one of the guys you meet along the way who becomes a good friend for life and who you will never forget. How fortunate for those of us who were lucky enough to have known him. Friendships like this are exactly what this club is about.
Sedonna we are terribly saddened by the news of Reg's passing. We loved his sense of humor and always enjoyed visiting with both of you on your walks. May he Rest In Peace and may you find comfort at this time.
