I just arrived on the east coast for a short vacation and thought Would lookup my old friend. Needless to say I was shocked at the news and cried for Rick and his family. I worked with Rick back in the late 80's and early 90's at White Swan. He was truly a great person and we shared many happy and fun times together. When we were both salesmen for White Swan, Rick helped me become the salesman of the year for 1987, which goes to show you how far back Rick's infectious way of having a positive effect on people.
I will miss him greatly

I had the blessing of working with Rick the past 4+ years. I don't think he ever walked by anyone without slowing down to leave a kind word or offer his help, ever! Rick you had a caring nature, you left a positive mark on those you came in contact with. And your leadership is of the rarest quality and intensely inspiring. I am a better person having known you.
