Sean Patrick Lavin passed away on the 29th of May 2021. Even though his life was short lived, he lived it to the fullest and those who knew him best will attest to this with a smile on their face. He joins his lovely mother Sheila Read Obituary
You were my first friend…I don’t really know what words to say to express the love I have for you. I know we were not close as adults but I truly hope that you know I love you and wanted the best life for you! Sean the world is a little less bright without you in it…I know you are up there with mom, our brothers and so many others that we have lost, look over us until we meet again! I love you bubba❤️
I only knew Sean for a few short days. I was thankful that we were able to talk to each other that first night. He told me how much he loved his family and Beautiful daughter! After meeting Sean's brother, sister and father, I was overcome with the love and devotion you all had for each other. You are all very special people and you all touched our lives & hearts!
Please know we will never forget Sean or his family.

Last year my little brother told me of his dream to hit the Appalachian Trail and I supported this journey like many of his other journeys he had during his life. We worked out all the details and so it began after staying at Dads for a couple days then flying to me in NJ spent a few days with the family and then we drove to Delaware to Cabelas for supplies then onto Maryland to hit the trail. I was so proud of you and we walked together in a couple miles took a pic hugged it out and I watched you walk away till you were out of sight. I felt like I sending you off to summer camp and I was nervous and worried. You promised to call me when you got to the first campsite. Instead you were distracted and saw a sign for Washington Monument on the trail not in DC.. I was not surprised as you always took a different route than planned. I wish I could have gone with you I love you buddy and my heart will never be the same I will always miss u little brother and my hope is that the 3 brothers had a grand reunion. I just found out the other day about your passing Sean. I'm glad that we became friends at the Patterson house where I work and you were one of the clients in Key West Florida. You're were a great guy. I wish I could have went on the Appalachian trail hike with you . Rest in peace my friend

Blackened chicken on Cesar Salad I know more about then I ever dreamed of, Sean really liked it and was rather particular about how it was cooked lol
He loved the 100 grand candy bars, and one came across my desk yesterday I smiled a little thinking about how happy he was when they showed up in his Christmas stocking.
He loved food overall and mentioned so many meals as he also enjoyed cooking but the last one that comes to mind is fried catfish with grits.... and butter
Sean LOVED butter.... not a little bit either lots and lots of butter lol.
3 movies Sean Lavin really loved....I was sat down on day 2 after his arrival in Oklahoma when he came to visit and told I HAD to watch Legend..... he fell asleep LMFAO, but I did actually finish the whole thing and it was really good.

He LOVED music.... so much music we listened to. His top three, which is really hard to choose lol so I'll go with what he listened to a lot. For the record though he's told me time and time again Frank Sinatra is by far his favorite artist, and after listening to a lot of his music I've come to realize Sean's personality is in the lyrics of many of Frank Sinatra songs.

I will never forget the trip to Houston because you wanted to have time with your new niece! Always calling me baby in your messages to check in and making me laugh at anything. Thank you for being a great uncle in this physical life, until we meet on the other side, I’ll be talking to you for guidance. I love you!
Sean Patrick i remember your 1st visit to Middlesbrough You would of only been a few months old maybe 5 i remember the excitement we all felt waiting for you to arrive at Nana Murphys bungalow Our New Cousin Sean Patrick from America and you were gorgeous so loved xx
I also remember Happy Sunny Days in Ireland your beautiful house in Castlebar playing in the garden and pushing you round in your pushchair you and Our Neil only 5 months in age difference would of been around 18 months at the time and i was about 9 years old xx
The years passed and then you came to live in Slieghts near us all you were about 8 years old then id say Happy Memories of them days having you all living close to us all xx
Years later you came to Middlesbrough and lived with my brother Martin and were a regular visitor at my house when my 2 boys were young they loved you you were so good with them and we loved having you around for that period of time xx
The years passed and we kept in touch having chats on phone and sending messages via Facebook you were in quite regular contact with my youngest son Danny who always remembered you from your time here with us when he was 3years of age xx
We are all devastated you were taken far too soon and we send our Love and prayers for Tiegan who we are thinking about constantly also love and sincere condolences to your Dad Uncle Tom Sister Anne Marie Brother Darren and all the rest of your family xxx

Legacy of a life well lived forever imprinted into lives of friends and family. A bull in a China cabinet with the heart of gentle giant you protected the ones you loved, stood up for the little guy and fought like no other to the very end. Your beautiful smile, ocean eyes, and silver tongue landed much good fortune in your lap but also brought trouble to your door.
