Before relocating back to Florida last year in hopes of starting her own spice business, she was employed by the state’s Dept. of Aging as manager of the Blue Ridge Senior Center in Great Bend, PA. After taking care of her mother, Anita Soderberg, who passed away 3 years prior, Debbie moved back to Florida to be closer to her children and granddaughter. Debbie was one-of-a-kind, and she will be missed dearly by so many. She loved hummingbirds, taking countless photos, nature, living near the beach, and cooking among many other things. She had plans to hike the Appalachian Trail. An informal gathering or “Celebration of Life” will take place come spring in Montrose, PA., among close family and friends. Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Orange, FL.
