Jeanne Bray Campbell On January 9, 2015, Jeanne Bray Campbell, widow of Donald J. Campbell, left her family and this world. She was two weeks short of her 89th birthday. Jeanne was born in Hazelton, PA, the daughter of a coal miner. In 1946 she graduated the University of Pennsylvania Nursing School, married in 1949 , and lived in Dallas, Miami, and for 46 years (the past 5 years at Forrest Lake Manor) in the Daytona Beach area, where she worked as a R.N. at Ormond Beach Osteopathic Hospital , and finally in the office Dr. James Hull. For many years Jeanne was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and she volunteered in the Volusia County public schools as a reading tutor. She enjoyed playing bridge, and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family, amidst delectable foods, peals of laughter, and hearty conversation. Jeanne was all about family and her faith, faith and her family. By those who knew her she is remembered as a kind person who was accepting of all people and who met life's challenges with a decidedly cheerful outlook.
