Birth date: Aug 11, 1945 Death date: May 2, 2026
With very heavy hearts, we share that our dad, James Kincaid, passed away at the age of 80. He was one of those people you just felt comfortable around—kind, thoughtful, hardworking, and always bringing a little humor into the ro Read Obituary

Jimmy was one of a kind, he was my dad’s best friend. Golf, tennis, basketball and any other sports they could play, they were playing it. Jimmy never left a moment without a laugh. His giggle was contagious, he always found the humor in what was happening and has a quip or joke to make the moment memorable. They don’t make them like Jimmy anymore. He will be remembered and dearly missed. All my love to Terri, Lisa, Carrie and Timmy. I want to believe my Dad and Jimmy are walking 18 right now, because my dad was waiting for him with his clubs.

My sweet Uncle(aka Poppy)
My Uncle Jim always had a joke to tell. He somehow often had a new joke that we hadn’t heard before. I still to this day, don’t know where he got them all!
He was loving, compassionate, and a strong and quiet silence in the room when he wasn’t joking.
He took care of his beautiful wife, and his sisters so diligently being their rock when they needed it.
He was the best uncle to me always!
An accomplished diver and basketball player and veteran. He always had interesting stories to tell, that’s for sure.
I will miss you more than words can say my sweet Uncle Jim, but I’m so glad that you have peace now.
Your legacy will live on through the rest of your family now and forever!❤️🙏🏻

The Joker
He knew how to step into a moment
just before it broke
When voices rose
and hearts pulled tight
he would turn the air
with something small and unexpected
A joke
a smile
a line that made the room remember itself
Not for his own ease
but for ours
He understood
that laughter can carry weight
that even heavy rooms
can learn to breathe again
So he wore the name well
the joker
Not as a mask
but as a quiet purpose
To soften what could have hardened
to bring light where it was needed
to leave behind a moment
that felt a little more like peace
Love you Always your son
