I worked with Leroy in the 184th. Loved both he and his wife, they were both great people. I don't think I ever saw either one of them without a big smile on their face. RIP Leroy you are now back with your Joy!

Maj Leroy Meyer was a founding member of the Museum of the Kansas National Guard and the Museum owes him a debt of gratitude. COL Malen & Marilyn Dowse, 3006 Quail Creek Dr., Topeka, KS 66614 have made a $100 memorial donation in his name to the Museum of the Kansas National Guard and his name is being added to the memorial plaque in the Museum Lobby. Leroy was a great part of many of our Guard lives for many years, and we recall him, as well as Joy, with fond memories. Ed Gerhardt, BG (Ret), President, Museum of the Kansas National Guard.
