I will miss Al. He was my husband Richard's childhood friend. His mom taught Richard's mom how to make Italian sauce. I am sure they are back together again doing mischief. I am glad that Joan is doing well/ I admire her strength. I did not do so well after Richard's death. He went fast and unexpectedly while we were on our way home from our daughter;s house.
Al and I were transplants to the state of Texas back in 1977 from the then New York telephone company. We crossed paths when Al was transfered to San Antonio area from Victoria ,Texas at the time I was an Engineer from Long Island transplanted in Texas and Al was also a transplant ,so we hit it off being well and eventually we bowled on the same team and Al loved to bowl. We went to tourniments together and stayed friend for many years..Eventually Al became my direct supervisor and we always had a certain N.Y connection. We both retired at the same time from Southwestern Bell and both wound up here in Florida . We met a few times there in Port Orange and stayed internet friends till his passing. God rest his soul ,he will always be my friend .
