Ana P. Sousa's Obituary
Ana Pires Sousa, aged 75, passed away peacefully November 10, 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida surrounded by her loving husband and daughters. She was born October 30, 1946 in Folgosinho, Portugal to Joaquim and Maria Delfina Pires.
She met her husband, Antonio Sousa, in Danbury, Connecticut where they spent a majority of their lives, raising their daughters and grandchildren, before moving to Palm Coast in 2013.
Ana loved spending as much time as possible with her family. You would always find her singing, dancing, and laughing. She was always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her.
She is survived by her husband Antonio Sousa; daughters Isabella Sousa, Diane Locke (Ken) and Nancy Degree (Todd); and grandchildren Michael, Victoria, Elizabeth, and Catherine Teixeira; Zachary and Kayla Locke; and, Allison and Samantha Degree. In addition, she is also survived by her sister Maria da Gloria Bernardes (Manuel), brothers Manuel Luciano Pires (Berta) and Albino Jorge Pires (Leontina) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria Delfina and Joaquim Pires.
Her memories will live on in all of us and she will be loved and missed by all.

On Monday, November 15, 2021, there will be a public viewing at 9am located at Heritage Funeral Home at 4601 East Moody Boulevard, Bunnell, FL in the Marvins Garden complex Unit G-7, followed by a funeral mass service to celebrate Ana’s life at 11am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL. A gathering will follow at her home.
