Andrew “Andy” Francis Risso
Andrew “Andy” Francis Risso of Daytona Beach, FL was born on July 13, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Andrew B. Risso and Anna Rita Risso nee Blum. He passed away peacefully at his home on August 11, 2013 at the age of 75 years.
Andrew was a veteran of the US Navy. Energy conservation was one of his greatest passions in life, leading him to start the local Sunshine Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
He is survived by his life partner Lindy Deem of FL, daughter Frances Ann Risso of MT, brothers; Joseph Risso, John Risso and wife Mindy, and James Risso, all of NJ. Sisters; Anne Marie Groben and husband Richard of UT, and Sylvia Rita Bourgeois of FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129. The family will receive friends after the Mass at the church.
All services are under the direction of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Orange, FL.
