Betty Ellen Lochner
Betty Ellen Lochner, of Palm Coast, FL, a former resident of Bethel Park, PA and Garden City, SC was born on July 3, 1924 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Alvin Hugh and Edna May Shanaberger nee Miller. She passed away on February 13, 2013 at The Windsor of Palm Coast at the age of 88 years.
She was a graduate of Morgantown High School, and retired from the Insurance Industry. Betty enjoyed playing BINGO, card games, and was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodge Auxiliary.
She is survived by her brother, J. Lewis Shanaberger and wife Mary Kathryn of Palm Coast, FL. Two nieces, Janet S. Smith of Lewis, DE, and Ellen K. Stucky and husband Richard of Palm Coast, FL. Three nephews, John Lochner of Jacksonville, FL, Vaughn Lochner, and Les Lochner of California, and several cousins.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Meldrum Lochner.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Betty to the American Cancer Society, 1737 N Clyde Morris Blvd #140, Daytona Beach, FL.
