Betty Jo Marsh Conn
Conn, Betty Jo Marsh, age 86, of Port Orange, FL, passed away on December 21, 2012 in Port Orange. Betty was born April 14, 1926 in Taplin, West Virginia. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Betty grew up in Man, WV and attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV as a journalism major and worked on the university paper. She married, lived many years in Indianapolis/Carmel, Indiana, before moving to Florida in 1992.
Betty spent much of her time volunteering for various causes. She loved playing bridge, shopping, football, baseball, auto racing, the beach, movies, history, reading, animals, showing off family photos and people in general.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Calvin Conn; her son Bill Conn; her daughter Donna Carl; and her granddaughters Paige and Gaby Carl.
Betty will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
