Beverly K. Niebuhr's Obituary
Beverly K Niebuhr died February 14, 2020 in Palm Coast, Florida. She was formerly a resident of Glenville, NY. Born May 14, 1926 to Lillian (Larned) and Otto Stern. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Schenectady, NY and worked at General Electric Company and the H. S. Barney Company. She married William Niebuhr August 18, 1948 and they had two children. Beverly’s life was centered in God and family. Much of her life was given in the service of God through the church. She enjoyed summers at Galway Lake (being there every summer for 92 of her 93 years), a good game of bridge and when she was younger, a round of golf. Bill and Beverly also enjoyed going to the theater and going out to eat, particularly with their children and grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one granddaughter. She is survived by her 2 sons, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Beverly will be buried with her husband in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Schenectady, NY at a date to be determined. A celebration of her life will also be held prior to burial. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family in Florida.
