Carlos Marques' Obituary
Carlos Marques, a devoted husband, beloved brother, and cherished uncle, passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2026.
Born in Belém, Brazil, Carlos immigrated to the United States at the age of six, where he built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and dedication to his family. He spent many years working as a die setter for National Manufacturing Corp., a role he carried out with pride until his retirement.
Carlos is survived by his loving wife, Angela, 79, of Seaside Heights as well as his beloved German Shepherd Rocky. He also leaves behind his siblings: Maria Santana, Manuel Marques, Constantino Marques, Johnny Traqueia, and Tony Marques and his wife Julie.
He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews: Cindie, Michael, Chrissy, Toni, Jessica, Patricia, Emma, Katherine, and Michael Miro of Edison; Gina Marie Miro; Lia and Nicole Filippelli; as well as his sister-in-law Rosemarie Filippelli, Carlo Filippelli Jr., and Marnie Filippelli.
Carlos will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
