Carol was a compassionate and God Fearing woman. She was an excellent student of the word of God
She would remind us to watch out for God’s Sightings: in creation, in answers to prayer, in unexpected evidence of God’s care, and to be available to do His bidding.
As we traveled to the Women’s ministry meetings on the first Friday of the month, we would feel free to discuss what was on our hearts. She loved sharing diligently about the missionaries working in the field for Christ in other countries. She also mentioned some stories about her sister and nieces. When a song was sung at the women’s meetings, she would sometimes explain how important the words to the song were.
I loved the text messages she would text to me, even though she was sick. I truly miss that! I felt extremely privileged when she started calling me her little sister, because she thought her brother and I were the same age.
Carol was an extraordinary woman and I count it all joy to have had her as my dear and loving big sister and friend.
