Carol Olafson's Obituary
Carol Olafson, 85, of Palm Coast, FL, died peacefully under hospice care on October 14, 2022. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on June 15, 1937 to Walter and Regina (nee Kowalski) Midura.
After high school, she married the love her life, William Oliver Olafson. She worked for many years in administrative roles for Prudential Insurance Company in New Jersey.
Carol and Bill loved sailing, and were lucky enough to be able to spent years living on their boat "Bicaro" (a playful combination of their first names) and enjoying incredible adventures on the water. Carol was a quiet, private person- but her family will remember her most for her constantly happy and pleasant demeanor. She was always smiling!
Carol is survived by her loving husband William; her sibling Ruth 'Sister Mary' Angelis; sister-in-laws Doris and Carol; and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed dearly by numerous friends and extended family.
A public viewing and funeral mass will be held in her honor at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164. She will be buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bunnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, her family encourages you to donate to the charity of your choice in her honor.
