Catherine Hrickiewicz's Obituary
Catherine Hrickiewicz nee Neidert 92 of Palm Coast was called home on June 3, 2022. She was born December 1929 in Alabama but grew up in Lawrence Tennessee. She traveled to California with work and there she met her future husband Rudy. From there they went to Chicago Illinois were they married in 1952 and raised a family. It was in Illinois that she started to get involved in Church activities. She loved organizing shows, parties and anything else that helped the Church. She arrived in Palm Coast in the early 1990’s and stayed involved with the Church. She joined the Ladies Guild, was the Social Hall Coordinator and also ran Bingo till her retirement 3 years ago. She was very active but it was her devotion the Virgin Mary that brought her peace and comfort.
She is survived by her children Michael Hrickiewicz of Chicago, Illinois, Patricia Hrickiewicz of Palm Coast, Florida and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Rudolph Hrickiewicz, brothers Joseph “JW” Neidert and James “Jim” Neidert.
Funeral services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Palm Coast on July 8, 2022, 11:00 am with viewing at 10:00 am. A reception will follow in the Social Hall. Internment will be private at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
