Catherine Ann Yorfino's Obituary
Catherine A. Yorfino. 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her son and daughter on August 30, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Cathy was born in Sydney, Novia Scotia the oldest of 10 children. She traveled to the United States and met her husband John J. Yorfino Jr. in Stamford, CT. Cathy spent many years in Connecticut where she stayed home to raise her children.
Cathy loved to travel and experience new things. She voluntarily traveled to the Philippines numerous times to train new employees with Wells Fargo. When not traveling Cathy loved to read and always had her Kindle with her. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and made sure to spend it with her family every year. Her family was the most important part of her life and she would do anything for them.
She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Yorfino Jr, her father, Edward Dwyer, her mother Louise McNeal, her brothers Kevin Francis Dwyer, Edward Dwyer and Bernard Dwyer.
Cathy is survived by her two children Meagan Marie and John J. Yorfino III, her daughter in law Stacy Yorfino and her three grandsons John J. Yorfino IV (L J), Gavin Scott Yorfino and Kai Kayden. Besides her children and grandchildren, Cathy is survived by her sisters Loretta Grant and Debbie MacNeil (husband Paul), her brothers Bobby Dwyer, Jerry (wife Angela) Dwyer, Leo (wife Honey) Dwyer and Bill (wife Jennifer) Dwyer, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Cathy had an amazing heart and was loved by all. She loved her family and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
