Charles Daniel Lucas' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father and friend, Charlie aka Chuck Lucas, who left us far to soon at the young age of 48 on August 8th, 2025.
Chuck was known to give the shirt off his back without a second thought, and to show up for anyone in need. His heart was as big as his presence- tough when life called for it, but at his core, he was a gentle soul with a tender heart.
Chuck was blessed with a large and loving family, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was also surrounded by countless friends who became like family, each one touched by his kindness, humor and unwavering loyalty. His absence leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Shirley Lucas, his brother Frank Lucas, sister and brother-in-law, Angel and Trevor Moore, son Tyson Lucas, 6 nephews and 2 nieces, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and a circle of friends to numerous to name, but all equally loved.
We will gather to honor Chuck’s life on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 from 11:30am-2:30pm at the Palm Coast Community Center in the Sunshine Room located at 305 Palm Coast Parkway N.E., Palm Coast, FL 32137. If you are able to attend and share some stories of your time with Chuck, the family would greatly appreciate it.
Though he is gone from our sight, Chuck’s memories will live on in every life he touched. We will forever remember his strength, his generosity and his love.
