Chris Edward Willis' Obituary
Chris Edward Willis ,64, went to be with the Lord on May 15th, 2022. He was born July 11th, 1957 in Danville, Illinois.
Chris was the son of Donna Willis and the late Bud Willis. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend to many.
In July 2021, Chris was diagnosed with cancer. During this journey he gave his testimony and touched many people in his journey through life. He loves sports, fishing, gardening, traveling, the beach and never hesitated to help anyone. His faith in the Lord was incredible.
Chris worked at General Motors for 30 years in the transmission division in Indianapolis, Indiana. After he retired at 50, himself and Joan relocated to Florida to fulfill their dream of retirement.
He is survived by his loving soulmate Joan Willis, mother Donna Willis, niece Liberty Warner, seven grandchildren, five great grand children and beloved dog Gunner.
Chris proceeded in death by father Bud Willis and brother Stan Willis.
