Cindy Ann England's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Ann England, a cherished mother, sister, friend, and a proud Army veteran, who left us on October 19th at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer.
Cindy was born on October 15, 1962 in Key West, Florida. Achieving the rank of Sergeant, she dedicated her life to serving our country. Enlisted in the Army from 1991-1998 as a Network Switching Systems Operator, she served honorably during the Gulf War, Korean conflict as well as the Bosnian war. Directly following the attacks on 9/11, Cindy re-enlisted from 2001-2004 as a Motor Transport Operator during the Global War on Terror. Throughout her military career, Cindy displayed exceptional courage, commitment, and leadership, earning medals for Army Achievement, Good Conduct, National Defense Service, and Global War on Terrorism Service. She also earned ribbons for NCO Professional Development, Army Service and Overseas Service.
Cindy's most cherished treasures were her children, grandchildren, and sister. She loved traveling, poetry, and had a deep passion for dancing, music, and the arts. Her generous heart and steadfast faith will always be remembered.
Cindy is survived by her three children Jason Browne, Justin Browne and Jessica (Luther) Nace; three grandchildren Katherine Browne, Delilah Nace and Lillith Nace; two siblings Malinda (James) Kubber and Arthur (Marlene) Evans; and her service dog Evan. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Judy England; and baby brother Timothy England.
A memorial service will be held on November 10th at 11am, at Anchor Baptist Church, 216 County Road 305, Seville, FL 32190. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Cindy's life and service.
