Just found out that my old friend Clyde has gone home to be with the Almighty. We shared many great memories in our younger days when he worked at Sylvania Lighting. We kind of lost touch over the years but I will always remember him fondly. Condolences to the family.
Very sorry to hear of Clyde passing away. We had many enjoyable conversations on his RV he'd drive to Middlesboro, KY to buy our 2nds and 3rds blue jeans. I have often tried to look him up to contact him again. That is how I found his obituary.
He was a good, extremely intelligent, interesting man to talk and visit with.

My father, DADDY, was the BEST Father, teacher and friend a son could ever ask for. He had a heart of gold and the mind of a genius when it came to business. He had the moral values and ethics of a Saint when it came to honesty and fairness. He always said, "what goes around, comes around, good and bad... it always comes back. Live by that, and treat others with the respect you would want for yourself." He taught me to be compassionate, thoughtful and mindful of others who are less fortunate. Unless, however, that person is being an all out jackass, then just punch them in the nose. His work ethic and determination to be successful were unrivaled. He was a natural born hustler. He always said, "Billy, experience and hard work are everything - You have to learn for yourself!" He could always take very little and make it something.
I could go on and on forever speaking of how great a father and man he was... it would never end.
The boys and I love you and will see you again one day!
