Cole Anthony Smith's Obituary
Cole Anthony Smith, 26, of Palm Coast, FL died unexpectedly on January 2, 2024. He was born in Daytona Beach, FL on June 4, 1997 to Jerry Smith and Kate Reely.
Cole graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School in 2016 and followed his passion for cooking at the Olive Garden. He enjoyed cooking and creating tasty meals in his spare time. More recently, Cole had begun to enjoy an evolving relationship with Jesus at Tomoka Christian Church in Ormond Beach. We find comfort that he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior.
Gifted with ‘one-of-a-kind’ humor, he was always cheerful and willing to help others. Cole always seemed to have a smile, a hug, and a kind word for everyone he was around. Cole also enjoyed spending time with family and friends- often playing video games or board games on family game night. He also enjoyed socializing over a good cup of coffee. More than anything, he loved his dog “Odin” like a child.
He is survived by his father Jerry (Kim) Smith and his mother Kate (Rachel Grant) Reely; his brother Andrew Smith and sister Stephanie Smith; maternal grandparents William & Luanne Cayler and paternal grandmother Shirley Smith; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Cole will also be missed dearly by his friends and colleagues.
Jerry wants to share: "Son, you were always such a warm hearted gentleman who always made me proud. When I spoke of you to anyone, I always held my head up high. It's a privilege to be your dad aka "Old Man". I miss you & love you! "
Kate wants to share: "My baby boy, I will miss your hugs, your laughter & your light. I am so honored to be the momma of such an incredible man. I love you & I will miss you always!"
