Cynthia Ruth Lewis' Obituary
Cynthia R Lewis born October 2, 1950, passed peacefully at home February 5, 2021 after battling Alzheimer’s. Her life began in Marietta, Ohio where she was one of 5 children of Howard and Thelma Turner. In Marietta she met her lifelong husband Alan Lewis. Cindy and Alan made many parts of the USA home due to Alan’s career in the USCG. They settled in the quaint little town of Henniker, NH, where they built their family home to raise their three children; Heather, Justin, and Noelle. Cindy had a career in Admissions at New England College where she worked for over 28 years and retired in 2014. She was an active member in the town where she served as a Supervisor of the Checklist and Assistant Town Treasurer for many years. Cindy was highly dedicated to her family and could always be seen running between practice fields and making delicious home cooked meals. Her home was a destination for family, friends, and neighbors where laughter, hugs, and a hot cup of tea were always available.
In her golden years Alan and Cindy retired to Palm Coast, FL, where they enjoyed sunrises at the beach and watching their grandchildren grow. She is survived by her husband Alan, who cared for her in her final years. Her three children Heather Russo and granddaughter Marisa, Justin Lewis married to Jessica, and grandchildren Abigail and Nathan, and Noelle Hernandez married to James and granddaughters Olivia and Savannah. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service.
