So sorry to learn about Dale's passiing. He and his family have been LONG-time friends and he will be so missed. Even if in recent years, we have not been able to visit much, our friendship has remained. Over the years there have been many remorable times we shared. One that comes to mind is the trip we took to Berlin while stationed together in Germany..the earie train trip, the interesting sights, and who could forget my, Clara, attempted exit from the metro (not waiting for it to totally stop before trying to exit) To this day, I can't imagine what I was thinking and no wine was involved!! My Uncle Dale is my dad’s brother (Dutch). He married his beautiful wife Gerry who Is my mom’s sister (Bea). It was so cool to have double cousins. We got together for a lot of family functions. Family is number one priority for the Bell clan. We traveled to Alaska when they were stationed there. It was a wonderful time. Uncle Dale is going to be missed by so many people who loved him. I have so many fond memories that I will cherish.

Dale was a special uncle to me that was loved dearly. While dating Dale and Gerry spent many hours babysitting me as an infant and toddler. They both have had a special place in my heart. My children were recipients of Dales kindness and know him “ as the one that looks like their grandpa”, Dales brother Dutch. We were lucky to be stationed close to Dale and Gerry’s family for a while which allowed us numerous special memories with them and our cousins. Uncle Dale was well loved by his family and extended family. Always in my heart… always missed.
