Daniel G Jones' Obituary
Daniel George Jones passed away on November 11, 2020, surrounded with love and family. He was born on August 3, 1954 in Anchorage, Alaska. Dan (Dano) was a top-notch carpenter and became a journeyman at 18. In the 70’s he had the opportunity to be the lead foreman building a replica of the Santa Maria in St. Petersburg, Florida. Throughout his life he created and built projects that were one of a kind and was able to help people realize their dreams through his creations. He took care of his mother for the last 13 years and even though he knew death was near, thought only of his mother and sold all of his belongings just to make sure she would be taken care of after his passing. He will be missed by all… Dan leaves behind his mother, Dolores Jones, Bunnell, he was big brother to Cindy Desch, Floral City, Shirley Rose, Alachua, Annette Shreve and husband Ed, Daytona and Georgina Colaci, Flagler Beach. He left behind numerous nieces and nephews who will always remember him with pride as their Uncle Danny, may the BAM be with you Dano!
A celebration of life will be held on December 6th, 2020, at 207 N. Lemon Street, Bunnell, starting at 2pm, please bring your memories and help us to celebrate Dano’s life.
