Danielle Marie Orticke's Obituary
Danielle Orticke, 43, passed away suddenly on September 21, 2024 at her home in Palm Coast. She was born March 26, 1981 in Hollywood, CA to Hilbert and Brenda (nee Johnson) Orticke and spent the majority of her life in Jacksonville.
As a young woman, Danielle enjoyed traveling, once visiting London with friends. She said it was one of her greatest experiences. She also ventured to New York, Detroit, and spent some time living in Washington state. She loved reading romantic mysteries, playing online games, shopping, spending time with family and telling terrible Dad jokes. The joke line was often lost because she could not stop laughing long enough to deliver it. Danielle enjoyed cooking and often made her own great one-of-a-kind seasonings. She also dearly loved and doted on her 2 dogs, Chevy and Chassis.
Danielle worked for more than 10 years at Newfold (formerly Web.com) in several positions where she excelled. She was highly regarded and received a well-earned promotion earlier this year. She was very excited about it and eager to take on her new responsibilities. She was always willing to share her vast knowledge with her coworkers and was a valuable subject matter expert. Danielle counted many of her coworkers as close friends. She was an active member of several affinity groups and was frequently a willing volunteer for various activities. She was continuously appreciated for her spirit and passion.
Danielle is survived by her daughter, Cierra; mother, Brenda; brothers, Craig and Jamele; sister Kimberly; nephews Christopher, Dillon, and Aaron; nieces Tasha and Zoey; her loving and devoted friend Emon, as well as numerous cousins.
A celebration of Danielle's life will be scheduled for a later date.
Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation of Bunnell FL is assisting the family with arrangements.
