David A Barton's Obituary
David Allen Barton, 75, passed away peacefully at the Stuart F Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast Florida on May 30, 2022. He was surrounded by his family as he took his last breath on this earth & joyfully entered the heavens. He was greeted at the pearly gates of Heaven by his mother & father Clarence & Mary Barton, and his brother Jerry Barton.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Lee Barton; his son and daughter in law. Richard & Cristy Barton; daughter & son in law, Kimberly (Barton) & Ed Narvaez; his grandchildren; Knick Narvaez and Wife Erin Narvaez ; Sydney Narvaez Marshall and husband Hilkiah Marshall ; Kobe Narvaez; great grandchildren; Lukas Narvaez, Brecklyn Narvaez, Eisley Peace Marshall & Pheo Lake Marshall. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses; Peggy & Kirk Harris, Judy & Steve Keelen; Rick & Janet Barton.
David married the love of his life, Linda, in 1967. They spent most of their life together in Illinois, enjoying adventures on one of their many motorcycles, loving their grandchildren, and being the favorite neighbor. In 2016, they moved to Florida to enjoy the warm weather and sun all year round. David loved riding his Harley Davidson, watching Nascar, going to the gun range & spending time with family and his dog, Blaze. David was a true testimony to “Work hard, and don’t give up.”
Despite his discomfort, he enjoyed his life, lived it to the fullest, and never missed a chance to tell those around him that they were loved.
At David’s request, there will be no memorial service.
