David Franklin Brizendine's Obituary
David Franklin Brizendine, 70, passed away on July 19th, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida. David was born in Beech Grove Indiana on March 18, 1951. David was a proud Army Veteran, Indianapolis Firefighter, and custom home builder. David loved the Lord and his family. He lived his life for Jesus and told all he encountered about our glorious Savior Jesus Christ. David built homes for many years and continued to build and grow a business with his son Gary when he moved to Florida in 2008. He enjoyed spending time with family doing anything and everything and loved playing golf with his son, brothers, grandsons, and friends. David enjoyed teaching his son Gary and his grandchildren everything he knew and most importantly show them how to live for the Lord and David truly shined Christ’s light here on earth.
He was preceded in death by his father Vernon Carlisle Brizendine and his mother Miriam Jean Brizendine.
David is survived by his wife of 49 years Linda; his daughter Lisa and her husband Justin; his daughter Kristie; his son Gary and his wife Danielle; his grandchildren Tyler, Jordyn and her husband Austin, Hudson, Bella, Whitney, Kylee and Jase; his great grandson Weston and his brothers Glenn and Gary. As well as many cousins and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on July 24, 2021 at Turning Point at Calvary, 3500 FL-16, St. Augustine, FL 32092
