David James Bibb
David James Bibb of Daytona Beach, FL was born on January 26, 1949 in Daytona Beach, FL to the late Ernest C. Bibb and Kathleen Bibb nee Parr.  His soul lifted to Heaven on July 17, 2013 to go fishing with his dad, Ernie, at the age of 64 years.
As a teenager, he would paddle his surfboard across the Halifax River to get to the ocean to go surfing. After graduating from Mainland High School in 1967, he enlisted in the US Navy and served during Vietnam aboard the USS Ranger from January 1968 until November 1971. David retired from the US Postal Service in 2005 after 35 years of dedicated service.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his step-mother, Joan Bibb.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Diane, his loving sister, Lisa Moore and husband Fred of Fleming Island, FL, his twin sister Nancy Pollard and husband Paul of Daytona Beach, FL, and a host of extended family and friends.
David spent the last 3 weeks of this life in the loving care of “Angels” at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
