David Corliss Lawler's Obituary
With deeply saddened hearts we announce the passing of David Corliss Lawler, 74, of Palm Coast, Florida. David was born February 23, 1948 in Lakewood, New Jersey to the late Lawrence and Annie Lawler. He passed away February 6, 2023 at Advent Health Palm Coast.
David was a proud US Navy Vietnam Veteran and member of the Eagles, American Legion, Moose Club, and BACC Car Club. He was a past member of the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club. He worked for Local 825, operating engineers, in New Jersey before moving to Florida where he worked for the Flagler County Schools. David enjoyed restoring old cars and motorcycles. He was an avid Kansas City Football and Nascar Fan.
David is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Lawler and step-son, Jimmy Voisard.
David is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Lawler; step daughters, Susie Dotzel and Tami Day; sister, Denise Lawler Newell (Larry); nephew, Carter Newell; 4 grandchildren, William Dotzel, Richard and Kristen Dwight, Colton Day and 7 great grandchildren, Sophia, Alex, Kylie, Mackenzie, William, Ryker and Killian; a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
