David R. Mathias Jr.'s Obituary
David R. Mathias Jr, 88, of Flagler Beach, Fla. Passed away Thursday October 26,2023 with his wife by his side at Advent Health Hospital. Dave was born in Bristol Pa. to the late David and Winifred Mathias.
Dave is preceded in death by his son David III.
Dave leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years Eleanor (Gilmore)
Dave graduated Bristol High School in 1952 and went on to work for Bell of Pennsylvania which later became Verizon until his retirement in 1989.
Dave loved boating with his wife Ellie and moved to Florida in 1995 to live on a canal and continue his passion for boating.
Dave was a member of the Northeast River Yacht club in Northeast, Maryland where he served as Commodore in 1993. Dave was also a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Newtown, Pa.
