Summer's of ''79 and '80, Dave and I were the "ice cream truck " guys who drove around all summer..for those 2 years, we were inseparable!! I just finally found him on Facebook 6 weeks ago...he was heading from Florida to Texas and his plane was delayed... I have the text where he says..."Is this Butch?"....and he says we will get together to reminisce...am devestated that I never got to reminisce and will forever wish I reached out earlier..

Dave was such a cool person! Very welcoming and made an outsider feel comfortable quickly. When I was a newcomer he made me feel right at home with ease. He was warm and loving and made me feel welcomed as if I had always belonged. He will be missed
