David William Craddock
David William Craddock of Port Orange, FL was born on September 9, 1948 in Oberasbach, Landkreis Furth, Germany to the late Nelson Austin Craddock and Angelika Craddock nee Lindner. He passed away peacefully at his home on September 24, 2013 at the age of 65 years.
David relocated to Florida in 1986 from Kansas. He was a US Army veteran serving stateside during Vietnam. He retired from the US Postal Service in 2007, and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC). David was a member of the NRA and enjoyed target shooting. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Cocoa, FL, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2073 in Merritt Island, FL, the American Legion Post 359 in Cocoa, FL, and the VFW Post 4228 in Titusville, FL.
In addition to his aforementioned parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers Randy and Tommy Craddock.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia M. Craddock nee McGuire of 27 years, his daughter Chancey Craddock, and his grandson Tyson Glass.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, October 4, 2013 from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5135 US Highway 1, Port St. John, FL 32927.
A memorial luncheon will be held at the American Legion Post 359 in Port St. John following the Mass.
All arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Orange, FL.
