Dawn Rene Harrison's Obituary
Dawn Rene Harrison, of Palm Coast, FL passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was born on July 10, 1962 in Glasgow, Montana to Ira and Flora Lee Chambers and relocated to the Miami, FL area where she spent her childhood.
In 1980 she relocated from Miami to the Hammock in Flagler County with her first husband, Christopher Capitola. They married on July 15, 1983 at the Washington Oaks rose garden. Together they were parents to their only daughter, Ashley Joanne Capitola and were married for 22 years. On February 27, 2014 she married George Harrison of Palm Coast, FL in Daytona Beach, FL surrounded by friends and family. They spent 11 total years together and resided in Palm Coast, FL with their two dogs Tebow and LuLu.
Rene was a loving, and devoted mother and wife. She would do anything to help people she loved and you could always count on her. She was an amazing cook and her pasta sauce could have been world famous if it wasn't a secret recipe. She loved to spend time at the beach or on the boat with friends and family. She was always singing, dancing and laughing. Homemaker by profession for 30 years, she always kept her homes clean, tidy, warm and inviting. Rene had a wonderfully infectious laugh and a beautiful smile that will be missed by her loved ones for eternity.
Rene is survived by her husband, George Harrison; and her daughter Ashley Capitola. She also has four living siblings; Dee Dee Long, Sharon Long, Cindy Chambers, and Krystal Wright, and many nieces, nephews and cousins; her husband George Harrison's six children George Harrison Jr., Valerie Krezenski, Stephen Harrison, Caitlin O'Connor, Emily Hallock, and Michael Harrison along with 15 grandchildren all of whom called her "Grandma Nae Nae".
She is predeceased by her parents Ira and Flora Lee Chambers.
