Delores Marie Viola
Dolores Marie Viola, of Port Orange, FL was born on August 2, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Edward and Catherine Hill nee Scheuring. She passed away on January 9, 2013 at her residence at the age of 82 years.
Dolores loved life and lived it to its fullest. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Epiphany where she was Captain of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, she volunteered for the Church Bingo, and was a volunteer for the church bereavement group. Dolores was also a volunteer at the Halifax Hospital Gift Shop in Daytona Beach, and she enjoyed Bingo, Las Vegas, Internet Cafes, the beach, spending time with her family and friends, and she absolutely loved her dogs.
She is survived by her two sons, Frank Viola and wife Rosemary of Florida, and Michael Viola and wife Linda of Florida. Three daughters, Ronnie Servant and husband James of Florida, Debbie Viola of Florida, and Cathy Anderson and husband Don of Florida. Five grandchildren, Lauren, Kristin, Jenna, Ryan, and Megan, and one great grandchild, Madison.
A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Dolores will be held at on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL 32127. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Port Orange, FL.
All services are under the direction of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Orange, FL.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL 32127.
