Denise Meredith Daley's Obituary
Denise Daley rushed into the arms of Jesus on April 26, 2022, after many
months of fighting cancer. Denise Meredith Daley was born March 31,
1948, Gardner MA, the fourth child of eight and only daughter of Donald
W. Streeter, Sr. and Dorothea (Mulcahy) Streeter.
Denise married Frank J. Daley, Jr., on March 7, 1971, at Ocean Township,
Ocean County, New Jersey. To this union, two children were born,
Jonathan and LeeAnn. Frank preceded her in death December 23, 2017.
Denise was never afraid of hard work—she and Frank also played hard in
their earlier years. Twenty some years ago Denise accepted Jesus Christ
as her personal savior and professed her faith joyfully and freely
everywhere. Her greatest delight was helping others as a nurse’s aide, working in her favorite
deli, or caring for her three grandchildren. Denise was an animal lover and was never without
either a dog or cats. Denise was just 15 years old when her mother passed away. Her brothers
never let her forget the story of her fixing supper one evening. They thought it tasted a bit
different and come to find out she had grabbed a can of dog food instead of what she thought
was corned beef!
Denise was preceded in death by her parents and spouse, her brother Paul Brian Streeter (Judy), Manchester, NH, brother Mark Streeter (Brenda) Germantown, TN, step-sister Suzanne Morris (Robert), Naples, FL, and brother-in-law John Hutchins (Karen).
Denise is survived by her son Jonathan (Tara) of Huntington, CA, her daughter LeeAnn Gamble
and her children, Avery, Mason and Cade of Palm Coast, FL,; her step-mother Rolande Streeter,
Hudson, NH, brothers Donald W. Streeter (Connie), Holdrege, NE, David Streeter (Liz), Port
Charlotte, FL, Joel Streeter (Rose), Rochester Hills, MI, Jack Streeter, (Doreen) Alton, NH,
Phillip Streeter (Mary), Litchfield, NH, sisters-in-law, Judy Streeter, Manchester, NH and
Brenda Streeter, Germantown, TN, half-sister, Karen Joseph (Joe), St. Petersburg, FL, step sister, Louise Breen, Nashua, NH, step brothers Robert St. Jean (Mary), Pelham, NH, Richard St. Jean (Christine), Andover MA, and Paul St. Jean (Carol), Alton Bay, NH, step brother in law, Robert Morris, Naples, FL, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life in Manchester, NH, at a later date. Her ashes will be dispersed
in the Atlantic Ocean with her husband Frank’s.
