Dennis Richard Neuens' Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Neuens, 79, of Satsuma, Florida, who left us on September 12, 2024, at his beloved home. Born on December 9, 1944, Dennis was the cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary Neuens. Surrounded by his loving family, Dennis's departure marks the end of a life well-lived, filled with devotion to his family and faith.
Dennis was a man of profound faith, embodying the kindness and generosity of God in every aspect of his life. Known for his warm spirit and readiness to help those in need, he was a steadfast husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His work ethic was unparalleled, demonstrated through his successful ventures as the owner of Neuens Trucking and Nursery Pot Redistribution. Through these endeavors, Dennis traveled across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina making countless friends along the way and showing by example the true meaning of dedication and hard work. Dennis was hilarious, his contagious laughter and smile would brighten the room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A passionate hunter, Dennis cherished his annual trips to Michigan, where he provided his family and friends with a bounty of game, including elk, buffalo, bison, deer, hog, and yak. These hunts were more than just a pastime for him; they were a way to share his love and care with those he held dear.
Dennis is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mariah Conway, his parents and several siblings.
Dennis leaves behind his devoted wife, Judy; his daughters, Cammie Andrews, Barbara Hines (Roger), and Jennifer Morgan (Nicholas); and his grandchildren, Hope Bohn (Phil), Brittany Andrews (fiancé, Jose), James Hines. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Lloyd Conway, Eleanor and Louise Bohn, along with his siblings, Therese Guenette (Earl), Kenneth Neuens (Clara), Thomas Neuens (Terri), Richard Neuens and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Dennis’ remarkable life will be 11:00 am at Grace Fellowship, 2400 St Johns Avenue, Palatka, Florida with Pastor Terry Wright officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, one hour prior to the service.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to handle the arrangements. Dennis' legacy of love, faith, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
