Dear Julie, Greg and Susan,
My heart goes out to the three of you. It doesn't matter when you lose your father, it hurts so much. When my dad passed within 5 weeks of the birth of my first child, your dad was there to support me and, with his seemingly endless supply of optimism, help me focus on "leave it better than you found it", a mindset he passed on to staff as well as family. He had a huge impact on the world of CALTRANS that reverberated to the lives and influences of the people who had the honor of working with him. Blessings, Diane Eidam
