Donald Argraves' Obituary
On April 27, 2025, Donald George Argraves joined his mom, dad and brothers Bob and Rick in their heavenly home with their Lord. Born in Caribou, Maine on May 9, 1949, he was the son of Marshall Elmer and Patricia Marie (Dobson) Argraves.
Predeceased by his parents and brothers Robert Argraves and Richard Argraves, he will be sorely missed by his devoted wife of 47 years Diane Clark Argraves of Bunnell FL; dear daughter Jodie Lynn (Ron) Morman and granddaughter Chloe Sophia Morman of Marlton, NJ; brother Gary (Cathy) Argraves of Sebastian, FL; sisters Brenda Kilby of Portland, ME and Judy Lauderdale of Williamsport, MD; sisters-in-law Jessie Argraves of Roanoke, VA and Alma Argraves of Caribou, ME; and many loving nieces and nephews, and his sisters-and brothers-in-laws Susan, Karen, Gordon, Ron and Mark.
A Navy veteran, Don proudly served our country during the Vietnam War. A giving, happy, outgoing soul, he truly was a people person – never met a body he didn’t like or wouldn’t take time to chat with. It should come as no surprise that he spent a good part of his career in sales promoting GM aftermarket products.
Don spent most of his adult life in New Jersey. He was a true Mainer, however, and lived for summers in his beloved Maine. He relished the outdoors, fishing and boating, and especially at the family camp. Family truly was his everything. Cherished most were family gatherings, traveling with Diane, playing golf with his brothers and attending Chloe’s soccer games. Well-deserved retirement years were spent enjoying Florida. Life was good!
Service arrangements are yet to be finalized. Donations may be made in Don’s memory to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org/en/why-give or calling 800-242-8721. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service of Bunnell, FL assisted the family with arrangements. www.HeritageFlagler.com
