1945 – 2025
Apostle. Pastor. Teacher. Father. Servant of the Most High.
Pastor Donald Lee, beloved husband, spiritual father, author, and founder of God’s Healing Stream Ministry, entered eternal rest after a lifetime of faithful service to the Kingdom of God. A man who walked boldly in his calling, he leaves behind a legacy of healing, deliverance, and the unshakable truth of Jesus Christ.
Born on February 16, 1945, in Manhattan, New York, Pastor Donald Lee lived a full and meaningful life marked by strength, kindness, and devotion to those he loved. In his final days, he was surrounded by love and passed peacefully on June 18, 2025 in Palm Coast, Florida.
In 1975, while evangelizing, Pastor Lee experienced a divine encounter that changed the trajectory of his life forever. The finger of God physically appeared and wrote the word “Apostle” on his forehead. From that supernatural moment, he stepped into the apostolic calling with reverence, power, and total surrender. Anointed and equipped with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, he took the Gospel to the nations, ministering in more than 81 countries across six continents, from Asia to Australia, the Americas to Europe and Africa.
He and his devoted wife, Margaret Lee, co-led God’s Healing Stream Ministry for more than 20 years, during his 40 years in ministry, bringing the love, mercy, and truth of Jesus Christ to souls through local church leadership, prison ministry, street evangelism, and global missions. Under their leadership, God’s Healing Stream established churches and branches in France, Cuba, Togo, and Hong Kong, and reached tens of thousands more through teaching, prayer, and media.
A powerful communicator of the Word, Pastor Lee was the author of the widely embraced book “Tongues: Power & Blessings”, which topped Amazon’s bestseller list for 26 consecutive weeks and sold over 25,000 copies. His 12-part webinar series, YouTube teachings, and in-person ministry helped countless believers deepen their intimacy with the Holy Spirit, receive healing, and activate the gifts of God in their daily lives.
He was known not just for his wisdom and power in the pulpit but for his kindness, humility, and unwavering faith in private. His joy was contagious. His prayers were soaked in fire and love. His message, always rooted in hope, peace, joy, and victory in Christ, continues to echo across the world.
Pastor Donald Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Lee; his four sons: Derek Lee, David Lee, Daniel Lee, and Deleone Lee; his stepchildren: Dominique La Lanne and Jean Vivien La Lanne; and he is remembered by the countless spiritual sons and daughters he mentored and ministered to over the decades.
He will be remembered by those whose lives were touched by his generous spirit, his steady presence, and quiet wisdom. His passion for bringing others to know and serve Christ will be remembered by every family he touched. He showed both courage and grace in the face of life’s greatest challenges. His legacy will live on in all.
Though his physical voice is now quieted, his legacy resounds like a trumpet, calling us higher, deeper, and closer to the heart of God.
