Dorothy Ellen Karneol's Obituary
Dorothy Ellen Karneol entered into Eternity on Sunday, September 8th, 2019.after an almost yearlong battle with cancer at the age of 79. “Dottie” Yohey was born February 12, 1940 in Jupiter, Florida where she was raised with several brothers and sisters.
Dottie was married to Marvin Karneol on August 5th, 1956 and they had just celebrated their 63rd anniversary. In those 63 years they raised four sons, saw the birth of eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dottie enjoyed cooking, especially Thanksgiving dinner and her fried chicken and chop suey were beyond rival. When they were able, Dottie and Marvin enjoyed fishing especially at the ocean.
She is survived by her beloved husband Marvin, sons: Leonard, Mark, and Murray. The eldest brother Mike passed in 2007. She is also survived by daughter in laws: Kathy, Vivian, Linda, and Annie. Grandchildren: Heather, Jennifer, Aaron (and spouse Heather), Max, Kristen, Matthew, Joseph and Jonathan. Great grandchildren: Kathryn, Mark Robert, Landon, Hudson, Alexis and Makenzie and Logan.
Per her wishes, Dottie will be cremated and arrangements are being handled by Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bunnell, FL.
