To the Family of Dr. Bowles:

I was Dr. Bowles' patient for nearly 20 years and always felt he was a kind and gentle person who deeply loved his family. I remember many pictures/reminders in his office of his family. He was the consummate professional and always made me feel at ease. I was sad when he retired last year and sadder yet to read of his passing.

May your wonderful memories carry you through this difficult time and into the future. Please know that Dr. Bowles was loved and respected.

P.S. I am sorry that a new heart did not come in time to help. I have been an organ and marrow donor for most of my adult life and encourage others to do the same!

To the Bowles Family,
My daughter Donna, my daughter-in-law Erin & I were all patients of Dr. Bowles. He delivered my grandchildren and took care of us for many years. The staff used to shop at my store (The Enchanted Cottage), so it was always like a "visit" with my family when it was time for my yearly check up. Dr. Bowles would have the paper weight I gave him on his desk lamp; would remark how the grandkids liked to play with it when they visited. I never had a Dad, but he was as close as I will ever be to the feeling of having a father figure. We are all so sorry about your loss.
Please be comforted with knowing what a wounderful Doctor and friend he was to all of us. He will be missed.

I knew Dr. Bowles back in the Maitland Prucare days. He was my lead physician and I was the Administrator. It was great working with him -- he was a gentleman, a scholar, a great doctor and just a very nice man.

My prayers are with you in this time of great sorrow. I was a patient for 20 years. He saved my mother in laws life from cancer. My mom and daughter were patients of his as well. He always took the time to listen to you. He will truly be missed by everyone whose life he touched.

Dear Mary Anne and family,

I was so very shocked and sadden to see the obituary for Dr. Bowles. I worked with him at the Maitland and the South Seminole PruCare centers for many years. I always had the utmost admiration and respect for him. I witnessed the care and compassion that he showed to all of his patients. He was such a kind and gentle person with a great smile and wonderful sense of humor. His love for 'his girls' was always evident. Just know that I hold you all close in thoughts and prayers. May God give you comfort and may time ease your sorrow and leave you with only sweet sweet memories.

I will greatly miss Dr. Bowles. My first appt with him was at the PruCare Lake Ellenor office in 1984. He was my GYN dr for 26 years, and he always gave me annually the most gentle exams I have ever had. More than that, however, was his kind, genuine, compassion, which helped my husband and me esp as I tried to get pregnant. After many laparosco-pies and a major surgery (all completed by Dr. Bowles), to remove severe endometriosis, we had done everything possible, and it was not to be. His smile, his care, his laugh will be remembered, and I lift his family in prayer as you mourn the loss of your Husband, Dad, Granddad, Brother.
