Ed Milton Halligan's Obituary
Ed Milton Halligan Jr. "EJ," 47, passed away on February 18, 2022 in Ormond Beach, Florida. EJ was born and raised in the Daytona Beach area and graduated from Spruce Creek High School where he played football and loved to surf. EJ was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. EJ attended Florida State University and was a die hard FSU football fan as well as a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. When he wasn't watching football EJ loved NasCar, fishing and listening to his favorite band, The Cadillac Three. EJ is best known by his friends as fun-loving and sarcastic yet at the same time a very caring and compassionate friend. He adored his friends and would do anything for them. EJ was a wonderful husband and amazing father. More than anything, EJ loved his kids. He will be missed by all who knew him. He will especially be missed by his family, that he left behind.
EJ was preceded in death by his father, Ed Milton Halligan Sr. He is survived by his wife Denise, his son Ethan, his daughter Ava, his mother Mary Halligan-Pignato, sister Hollie Halligan Hardy and brother Eric Walker as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Friday, March 4 at 1pm, 600 South Nova Road. An intimate reception will immediately follow at the Anderson Price Memorial Building, 42 North Beach Street.
At 8pm, Friday, March 4, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Streamline Hotel.
