Edward Frank Barrow's Obituary
It is with Heavy Hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Frank Barrow (Uncle Eddie). Who left us on December 11, 2024 after a Courageous Battle with Cancer. Uncle Eddie was a devoted Brother, Dad, and Uncle to so many. His Love for his Family knew no bounds; he was always there to support those who needed him. His dedication to his loved ones and friends was unwavering, and he built lasting memories with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
For 53 years, Uncle Eddie worked in the construction industry as a Heavy Machine Operator and Foreman, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. His commitment to his craft and his hard work helped shape the projects he touched and left a lasting legacy in his field.
Outside of work, Uncle Eddie was a true enthusiast. He loved the thrill of driving fast cars, riding buggies through the woods with great friends and family, and spending time at the Bimini having a beer and laughing while sharing old stories with friends. His love for the Florida Gators was unmatched, and he was known to lovingly harass anyone who wasn't a fan of the Gators. Uncle Eddie was also an avid NASCAR fan, and you can always find him cheering on his favorite drivers.
Uncle Eddie was not just passionate about sports and adventure; He loved his family and always showed up for them. He loved cooking out and sharing great meals with family and friends. His love for good food and good company brought people together and created memories that will be cherished forever.
Born in Bunnell, FL, Edward (Eddie) was the son of the late Claude and Isabel Barrow. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Patrick (Bob) Barrow and Paul (Big Paul) Barrow; his brother-in-law, George English; sister-in-law, Linda Barrow; and nephew, Jeff Barrow.
Uncle Eddie is survived by his sister, Margaret English; his brothers, Claude (Buddy) Barrow and wife Cherrie, and Donald Lloyd Barrow and wife Leah. He is also survived by his stepson, Michael Braizer, and stepdaughters, Samantha Charkon, Danielle Waggoner, and Victoria Nguyen. Additionally, Uncle Eddie leaves behind his nephew, Paul Eugene Barrow and wife Beth; niece, Paula Barrow and partner Joel Carpenter; nephew Billy Barrow and niece Julie Spradin; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, including Brandon Keyton, Destiny (Horvatt) Bush and husband Tyler, Brooke (Barrow) Pridemore and husband Jacoby, Madison Barrow, Alexis Laura, Jacob Laura, Luke Laura, Paisley Barrow, Kenneth Spradlin and wife Megan, Katherine Spradlin, Alex Barrow, Christopher Barrow, and Kyle Barrow.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life to honor Uncle Eddie’s life will be announced at a later date.
