Edward Francis Cain Jr's Obituary
Edward Francis Cain Jr., 1935-2025. Ed was a caring, dedicated and patriotic man who put the needs of others ahead of himself. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he spent his childhood days playing stickball and attending Dodgers games at Ebbets Field. After attending High School at Brooklyn Tech, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-1955 during the Korean War, and later had a successful career in banking, becoming a Vice President at two major financial institutions.
He was a devoted, family, man who cherished spending time with his family. Active in his church, Gateway Cathedral, he served as a Trustee, and volunteered with Prison Fellowship Ministries.
He is survived by his wife, Esther, daughter Kerry and her husband, Louis, his son, Edward, his son Steven and his wife, Kimitra, and his grandson, Stephen Luke.
Graveside Service will be 10:30am, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
