We were so lucky to have you for a dad. Our children were so lucky to have you for their “Poppy”. We were so lucky to have you as our mentor and teacher in so many ways. I will miss every single opportunity we use to have to discuss home Reno’s, love of country and respect of freedoms, Beth Hart’s amazing voice, the deeper meaning of all things Pink Floyd, and so so much more.
We will miss your curmudgeon moments.
I just can’t imagine a life without your ever present rescuing me from one “only Khris” predicament at a time.
You gave us so much, it is unfathomable to measure it all, and your lessons and love for each one of us continues to give- it will endure for our lifetimes, our children’s and beyond- raising handy, humorous, music lovers :)
Thank you for loving us so much you were “ever present” and the best dad and grandfather a man can be. We will look for you where music hits its best notes, nature shines from inside out, where conflict ends in laughter and in our confidence to attempt any handy endeavor that comes our way.
We will take care of mom in a way that will only make you more proud of each one of us! ❤️
I love you Dad ❤️ You will be missed every single moment of every day.
Dear Ulmer family,
I have many fond and dear memories I will cherish forever as Pop Ulmer , as one of the adopt growing up. My heart breaks for you all. He is now with his son Ed watching over you all. Sending hugs and love.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember the great times we had going to Barb and Ed’s house on Christmas. The family coming to our house for thanksgiving eve. The good old days to look back on and remember the great memories and the fun times we all had. RIP Ed.
You have been the love of my life for more than a half a century. I can't imagine life without you. You have been a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Until we meet again, all my love. Barb
With great sadness we had to say goodbye way too soon Dad.... Thank you for being a wonderful father and an example for me and my children. Thank you for always being there for me and my family. You could do it all and I tried to soak up as much as I could, your work ethic and skills were lessons on how to become a better man and most importantly a better father. It is hard to imagine life without you or the empty place we will have sitting around a campfire. I love you Dad, Thank You.
