Edwin L. Dardzinski's Obituary
Edwin L. Dardzinski passed away suddenly June 23, 2024, at his home in Palm Coast, Florida. He was 83. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Edwin and Edna Laura (Kwartnik) of Maple Glen.
An architect, Ed headed his own firm in Doylestown for nearly four decades before retiring to Florida with Mary, his wife of 24 years. Throughout his career, Ed worked on an array of styles and designs. Projects included the landmark Moland House in Warwick Township and renovations to the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.
Ed enjoyed vintage cars and tractors, fishing and visiting the beach. With his signature mustache and ready joke he made friends easily with an unforgettable laugh. He loved history, his family and his Polish heritage.
In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his sons, David, Michael (Margaret) and Brian (Apisara); six grand-children and a great-grandson.
A proud veteran and graduate of Upper Dublin High School, Ed joined the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Strategic Air Command in Rome, New York. He started a family with his first wife, Jean and upon discharge attended night classes and later received his B.S. in architecture from Drexel University.
A memorial service will be held with an interment to follow at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown in the summer. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service of Bunnell, Florida is assisting the family with arrangements. www.HeritageFlagler.com.com
