Efren Richard Cavazos' Obituary
Efren R. Cavazos (JR) entered into heavens gates on November 11, 2020 at the age of 77 at his home in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Efren was born May 2nd 1943 in San Antonio, TX. In his younger years he played baseball working towards a spot in the minors where an injury required him to transition to his acquired love for golf. This gave him the opportunity to play a Senior Tour. During his career Efren served in the Army which led to his employment with North American Rockwell Space Division where he was lead on the construction for the Apollo Spacecraft. His career path also included McDonald’s Corporation where he served as VP of International operations until retirement where he decided to move to Michigan and obtain his own McDonald’s franchisees which were later sold before his relocation to Florida where he spent his remaining years.
He was preceded in death by mother Dora and brother Michael Cavazos
Efren is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Schmitt and Melanie Munro; grandchildren Sydney Sneckenberger, Carson Munro, Carmen Munro and Connor Schmitt
